  • Image formation and image evaluation are the important part in optical information processing. By characterizing the transfer capability of targets of various spatial frequencies through an optical system, the information transfer characteristics of the entire optical system can be effectively analyzed. This is based on the frequency-domain analytical method with the use of the optical transfer function of a linear system. This technique has been widely applied to optical design and optical evaluation. This system is designed to measure the transfer function at continuous spatial frequency.
