  • During optical information transfer, the transfer process and transfer quality of information through an optical system are the primary factors for the evaluation of the optical system. By characterizing the transfer capability of targets with various spatial frequencies through an optical system, the information transfer characteristics of the entire optical system can be effectively analyzed. This is based on the frequency-domain analytical method with the use of the optical transfer function of a linear system.
